(en) This installation was born within the constraints of the deterioration sustained during a year-long residency, and focuses on two forms of neglect. The initial destruction comes from self-surrender, the letting-go of body and mind, while the calm of the photographed subject and the condemnation of the entry (the artist’s actions) adds up to giving up possession of property, or the abandonment of a useless struggle. A gesture that admits defeat and offers itself up to the winner.

(fr) “Née dans la contrainte des dégradations subies tout au long d’une année de résidence, cette installation met en exergue deux formes d’abandon.
La destruction initiale relève de l’abandon de soi, du laisser aller du corps et de l’esprit, tandis que la placidité du sujet photographié, la condamnation de l’entrée (actions de l’artiste) relèveraient pour leur part du renoncement à la possession d’un bien ou de l’abandon d’une lutte inutile. Un geste qui admet la défaite et s’offre au vainqueur”
